Kevin Pitts is an Arizona native that grew up in Prescott. After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Management from Arizona State University, he decided to travel and eventually ended up in Mexico City. Kevin had a 12-year career there at Ernst & Young, working on audit teams as a translator. He returned to Prescott in 2003 and began his journey in financial advising. Today, he runs an investment advisory firm with his partner, Elizabeth Mahoney, at Evervest Financial / Stratos Wealth Partners.
Kevin is past president of the Rotary Club of Prescott. He joined the club in 2005 and has been an active member since, both at the club and district levels. His experience living in Mexico gives him deep ties to that country and he has followed that passion, serving as international service chair for his club and as the co-chair of the Mexico USA Friendship Conference and Global Grants Exchange. He also has an interest and background in teaching and has served as the district Rotary Leadership Institute coordinator, as well as a facilitator for the President Elect training classes. He currently serves as the Assistant District Governor to a group of clubs called innovative clubs that includes eClub of the Southwest, Club Rotario de Phoenix and Thunderbird Rotary Club.
In 2018, Kevin travelled to Kenya for the first time with a group of Rotary Interactors on a mobility-device distribution trip. He took advantage of his time there to visit Rotary water projects in the area, as well as spending time in the Maasai Mara.
Kevin is also a patron of the arts. He has served on the board of the Phippen Western Art Museum in Prescott since 2009 and is the current board chair. In his spare time, Kevin can be found in the wild; fishing, hunting and hiking, often with his three sons.
